iOS: Managing Your RadarScope Pro Subscription

Buying a Subscription

To subscribe to RadarScope Pro, tap the Settings button in the lower right corner of the screen, then select the Pro tab. From there, choose your subscription tier and billing interval and follow the instructions for purchasing in-app content through the iOS App Store. Once purchased, your selected RadarScope Pro Tier features are unlocked automatically.

Upgrading Your Subscription

To upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 on iOS:

  1. Open RadarScope
  2. Tap the Settings button in the lower right corner
  3. Tap the Pro tab
  4. Tap the button for the desired subscription tier and follow the on-screen instructions to verify your purchase

Alternatively, you can upgrade from Tier 1 to Tier 2 via the iOS subscription settings:

  1. Open the iOS Settings app
  2. Tap iTunes & App Store
  3. Tap your Apple ID
  4. Tap View Apple ID
  5. Enter your App Store password if prompted
  6. Tap Subscriptions
  7. Select the RadarScope Pro subscription from the list
  8. Select the desired subscription tier

When upgrading from an active Tier 1 subscription to Tier 2, Apple will refund the unused portion of your Tier 1 subscription and then charge you the full price for the Tier 2 subscription. For example, if you have six months left of Tier 1 when you upgrade to Tier 2, Apple will refund about $4.99 for the unused portion of your Tier 1 subscription. You will have immediate access to the Tier 2 features, and your Tier 1 subscription will automatically cancel so you're not charged for two subscriptions once it comes time to renew.

Downgrading Your Subscription

To downgrade your Tier 2 subscription to Tier 1, follow the instructions above for upgrading, but select a Tier 1 instead of Tier 2. When you downgrade, it doesn’t take effect right away. Your Tier 2 subscription will continue for the remainder of the period for which you’ve already paid. After the subscription time for Tier 2 has ended, your subscription will auto-renew as Tier 1.

Restoring a Subscription

Because subscriptions are sold and managed through each platform’s app store, they’re tied to your iOS App Store account. When you get a new device, you’ll first need to log into the App Store using the same account you used to purchase RadarScope and RadarScope Pro previously. Once doing so, restoring your subscription is straightforward:

  1. Open RadarScope
  2. Tap the Settings button in the lower right corner
  3. Tap the Pro tab
  4. Tap the Restore button in the lower left corner
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions

If your subscription fails to restore, it could be because you’re logged into the wrong App Store account, or because your subscription has expired. Refer to the support guide provided by Apple for managing your subscriptions on iOS to verify that your subscription is active and that you’re logged into the correct account.

If you’ve logged into the correct account and your subscription is valid, but you’re still unable to restore it, contact our support team for assistance at support@wdtinc.com.

Managing Your Subscription

iOS provides an interface for viewing and managing all of your in-app subscriptions, and you can use it to manage your RadarScope Pro subscription. You can reach this through RadarScope by tapping the Settings button, selecting the Pro tab, then tapping the Manage button at the bottom of the screen. For additional information, refer to the support guide provided by Apple for managing your subscriptions on iOS.

Canceling Your Subscription

iOS doesn’t expose a way for subscriptions to be canceled inside an app, so you must do so through the iOS subscription management page. In the RadarScope Pro view, tap the Manage button at the bottom of the screen, or refer to the support guide provided by Apple for managing your subscriptions on iOS. Once you've opened the subscription management view, select the RadarScope Pro subscription and follow the on-screen instructions to cancel your subscription.

Please note that Apple doesn't provide refunds for unused subscription periods. When you cancel your subscription, it will remain active until the next expiration date. When the subscription expires, the Pro features will be disabled and you won’t be billed again unless you reactivate it.

Sharing Tier 2 Across Platforms

To add a new device to your RadarScope Pro Tier 2 subscription, you first need to register your Tier 2 subscription on the platform from which you made the purchase. This action will create an account you can use to log in from your other devices. This blog post explains how to register Tier 2 and activate it on multiple devices.
