For example, if you have six months left of Tier 1 when you upgrade to Tier 2, Apple will refund about $4.99 for the unused portion of your Tier 1 subscription. You will have immediate access to the Tier 2 features, and your Tier 1 subscription will automatically cancel so you're not charged for two subscriptions once it comes time to renew.

If you currently have a Tier 1 subscription, you can upgrade to Tier 2 at any time. The Apple App Store and Google Play Store have different ways for how they handle subscription upgrades, which are explained below.
The process Apple uses for a subscription upgrade is pretty straightforward. Simply login to your Apple ID account, navigate to your subscriptions manager, and upgrade from there. For more information, go to: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039
You can also upgrade to Tier 2 directly from the Pro tab with the RadarScope menu page.
When upgrading from an active Tier 1 subscription to Tier 2, Apple will refund the unused portion of your Tier 1 subscription and charge you for the Tier 2 subscription like normal. For example, if you have 6 months left of Tier 1 and decide to upgrade to Tier 2, that equates to about $4.99 of "unused" Tier 1 that will be refunded.
You will have immediate access to the Tier 2 features and your Tier 1 subscription will automatically cancel so that you’re not charged for two subscriptions once it comes time to renew.
To upgrade to a Tier 2 subscription on Android, navigate to your Google Play Store app, pull up the side menu, select Account, then Subscriptions. From there you can manage your RadarScope Pro subscription. For more information, go to: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en
You can also upgrade to Tier 2 directly from the Pro tab with the RadarScope menu page.
When upgrading from an active Tier 1 subscription to Tier 2, Google pro-rates the subscription. Initially you will be charged $0 for upgrading to Tier 2. This is because Google has converted the remaining dollar value balance of your Tier 1 subscription into the equivalent length of a Tier 2 subscription. For example, if you have 6 months left on your Tier 1 subscription, that is roughly a $4.99 value. For example:
To downgrade back to a Tier 1 subscription, you will first need to cancel the existing Tier 2 subscription. When you cancel a subscription you will still have access to your subscription for the remainder of time you’ve already paid for. After the subscription time for Tier 2 has ended, you can then proceed to purchase a Tier 1 subscription.
On Apple, you can also switch to Tier 1 without canceling the auto-renewal feature. You can do this by logging to your Apple ID account, navigating to your subscriptions manager, and downgrading from there. When the auto-renewal time comes, it will charge you for the Tier 1 subscription rather than Tier 2.
